PUBLIC SKATING: MON-FRI 10AM-2PM – While the kids are in school, it’s a great time to come in and skate! We have several “regulars” who enjoy the great exercise and cool air in the NHL-size rink, without having to worry about little ones getting underfoot! Entry is just $2 for those 65+ and we have $5 rentals for nearly every foot size! Questions? Call George Noonan, Program Coordinator at (508) 790-6345, or firstname.lastname@example.org
PICKLE BALL: MON/WED/FRI 9AM-11AM – get in on the action with this fun and easy indoor sport similar to tennis! Lower nets, bigger rackets and a ball that looks a lot like a wiffleball! If you don’t have equipment, you can borrow ours.
WALKING CLUB: MON-FRI 7AM-9PM; SAT 8AM-9PM; SUN 8AM-6PM -- No need to worry about the weather, bumps in the road or needing the motivation of having a partner to walk with! The indoor elevated 1/12 mile track has a level rubberized surface that orthopeadic experts say is THE best for rehabbing achy joints or just staying active in general! It is open every day that the HYCC is open and many members meet up with old and new friends to chat as they walk regularly. Come in and check it out!
ADULT TIME IN THE GAME ROOM: Mon-Fri 9AM-12PM -- When school is in session the game room and computer lab are open to HYCC Members to come inside and play pool, ping pong, air hockey, chess and more! Or surf the web on one of the nine computer stations with free internet access. All you need for any of these activities in the Youth Center is an annual HYCC membership tag ($20 for Barnstable residents/$40 for non-residents) and you can come as often as you wish!
